We're Annie and Tony, Annie's the photographer and Tony's the man with the ruined back from carrying Annie's equipment. Unluckily for Tony, we're a portable studio.
We are veterans of film and television, having worked in the industry for over 25 years, working behind the scenes on film and television crews before becoming scriptwriters. You may have heard of some of the TV shows we worked on: The Man From Snowy River, Prisoner, All The Rivers Run, Flying Doctors, Blue Heelers, Saddle Club... And if you are ABC viewers: Phoenix, Janus, M.D.A...
In a futile attempt to avoid carrying photographic equipment, Tony still freelances in the film and television industry. He's currently developing a new TV show for a major network.
Annie began photography way back in her art school days and was mentored by the late Henry Talbot, a distinguished Australian photographer. She later taught photography at Prahran College before being lured away to film and television to write scripts.
Annie's always made pictures of one sort or another, as a cartoonist, as an artist and as a scriptwriter whose word pictures were turned into moving pictures. She's now devoting her energies to making beautiful still photographs.
